The air is crisping up on us - Fall is here and it is one of my favorite times of year! (Do I write that about every season? They all have their special thing about them, right? I don't know if I could live somewhere that didn't have such amazing seasons like we do here in the mid-Atlantic.)
But anyway, the excitement of scarf + sweater weather and shellacked vegetables are all giving me a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Fall is just awesome - pumpkin carving, apple picking, corn mazes - So Much Edible Fun.
Fall market season is also one of the best times of year. Tomorrow I vend at Crafty Bastards, DC's biggest, baddest craft show of the year; and October brings me fully out of Summer vacation mode and back to making my regular rounds at Fenton Street Market, Petworth Community Market and a new one - the Kensington Fall Festival. The schedule isn't fully set yet, but check back on our Markets & Pop-Ups page for updates.
To accompany the new season, we've also got some festive scents back in stock in new jars + vessels. The Fall Sunday Blossoms Collection is filled with cinnamon orange clove, cedarwood and beeswax candles perfect for the harvest + gathering season. Shop in person before these limited edition pups are gone! We'll list the remainder in the shop early next week.
Other Fall Favorites pictured above: the honeybee tea towel from Open Eyes Press, all my thrifted picnic baskets and a real Canadian deer antler that some pals brought my husband and me back from a cross-Canadian road trip.
We have been B U S Y these last few weeks and can't wait to share more of what we've been working on! Check our Instagram feed for sneak peeks and join the newsletter for updates!
