POW! WOW! is an annual week-long street art festival that originated in Hawaii and has grown rapidly into a global network of artists, gallery shows, and large-scale mural projects spanning internationally to Tokyo, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Long Beach, Austin, and now Washington, DC! Led and organized by local DC artist, Kelly Towles and NOMA BID, The launch event will showcase 40+ local retail vendors, food trucks, music, live art painting, and entertainment.
