We'll be popping up at the National Museum for Women in the Arts during their March FRESH TALK event: How can makers change the world?
About the event: Ann Hamilton, an internationally renowned visual artist and self-described maker, joins Emily Pilloton, designer, builder, and educator, to talk about the relevance of hands-on learning and how the experience of making things can inspire the next generation of innovators and creative change makers. Followed by Catalyst, a cocktail hour with a topic and a twist. Exhibition galleries will be open to attendees 5–6:45 p.m. Shop booths featuring local makers before and after the Fresh Talk.
TICKETS: $25 general; $20 members, seniors, and students. Price includes museum admission and Catalyst cocktail hour. Exhibition galleries open to attendees 5–6:45 p.m.
