March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb. Something like that poem my mom would quote every year. March is a big birthday month in my family (including hers) so it’s always a special time, and kicks off spring / gardening season / cherry blossom season / enjoying the outdoors again / vacations / and all those funny sunny times of year.

Although we’re not quite in sundresses and picnicking in parks yet, I’m ready for it, although transitioning out of my winter shell slowly, and this month’s candle club delivery is meant to help.

Our lavender vanilla scent is soft and sweet, mellow and easy, perfect for an all day burn and keeping your energy even-keeled throughout the day. Maybe like me, you find your brain waking from it’s winter fog every once in a while and working in overdrive through all the ideas you’ve not acted on in the past few lazy months. This scent reminds me to keep pace, stay easy. Life will be busier than the introvert in me can handle soon enough, and to enjoy the stillness / the early awakening while I can.

This favorite scent (in my little house) is paired with a lovely little sticker by illustrator / former ceramicist friend Marina of Whim and Vigor. Marina has a knack for capturing the beauty of small, ordinary things - vases of flowers, cups of coffee, notes on a typewriter, and we love sharing her stickers to spread small quiet moments. Small things like stickers brighten corners of notebooks, cabinets, art bins, etc. and fit perfectly inside cards for a sweet little treat. We love the art of finding the perfect place for them, and hope you do too this month.
