Candle Making at the Lemon Bowl
I spent this past Sunday hosting a candle making workshop at the Lemon Bowl, a creative studio and retail space in the Park View neighborhood of Washington, DC. A peaceful little workshop it was. Lavender is a go-to anxiety reliever and we poured lavender essential oil candles peppered with dried lavender + chamomile flowers designed to promote peace, rest and relaxation in your life. Something we all need to have more of. The aromatherapy benefits of this little flower are endless, and I was happy to share it & my process with creative friends around town.
I have been majorly crushing on this space ever since it opened up in DC last year and I'm so happy to be part of what makes it great. Workshops, retail + community. The spaces features work by makers + designers from the DC creative community, and it boasts a full schedule of events from terrarium workshops, to postcard mailing parties; vision board sessions to flower crown workshops. We'll have another Candle Making Workshop on Saturday, Feb 18, and a DIY Body Scrubs Workshop on Saturday, March 4. Space is limited so sign up soon!
Vibes on vibes. It's worth the trip just to soak up the plants + yarn. See ya there?!
