Meet the Stockist: Mana Culture

Meet the Stockist: Mana Culture

While in town for SXSW to represent DC makers at the WeDC House a few weeks ago, I wanted to take the time to venture out and about the city a bit, particularly to East Austin to see one of my far-away stockists IRL, Mana Culture. Until about a month ago, it was unlikely that I'd ever get to see this gem with my own eyes, but when the opportunity fell into my lap to go to Austin for a few days, I had to seize it.

Mana Culture is a beautiful bohemian boutique specializing in clothing, jewelry and small home + apothecary goods with a well-traveled feel. Needless to say, I was swooning over the dreamcatchers, weavings and plant life it boasted.

I think my favorite thing about the trendy plants out front of the shop wasn't that they were just so big + on point - it was that this is Austin always. These plants are so distinctively Texan, desert and all. So nice to see them in their natural habitats.

Mana Culture actually has three locations in Austin. Photos above from East Austin. The photo below is from the South Austin location.

Anyone else totally want to camp there for a weekend?

Find a few more scenes from our trip below. Thanks to the DC Economic Partnership & Made in DC team for inviting us out to SXSW!
