A New Studio

This past September we got the keys to a new studio at the Monroe Street Market Arts Walk in the Brookland neighborhood of DC. This community of retail facing art studios is a rare find here in DC, and even beyond, and I am so happy to now count myself among the artists and makers that call this place home. Over the years I have befriended, modeled for, collaborated with, and even sewn my wedding dress in these studios with these arty friends, and I’m happy to now also call them neighbors. Below are some photos from the shop that now has a retail section that you can visit! This holiday season, we’ll be filling the shelves even more fully with work that complements our own, and we’ll offer many more workshops in studio after the holidays, starting in 2020. Stop by and smell all the candles!
