September feels a little magical, doesn't it? A change in the wind, the world cooling off, finding new inspiration / routines / colors / textures that come with the start of a fresh school year and the transition to fall.

This month's Candle Club members are getting the first taste of fall, in the form of our limited edition Fruitful / pomegranate candle. It's sweet and warm, not quite pumpkin spice, but fall in it's own way, and divine as we welcome in the new season slowly but surely and take in all that it has to offer.

September is all about transitions. Transitioning from summer to fall; starting a new school year; feeling hopeful and abundant, which is what our fruitful candle is all about.

Reading: Reading My Tea Leaves, In Pursuit of Clean Countertops, and LIVING SMALL by Laura Fenton on Substack. I'm all in on Substack (have you subscribed to mine?!) and these three are the big ones helping me transition deeper into this next phase of motherhood in a small home with a baby that needs more than just to be held these days. Bebe turned one this month!

Smelling: Our Fruitful pomegranate candle, the scent of the month. Sweet and warm, a hint of all the fall scents and flavors coming. I love this one, and it's a throwback scent if you've been around forever. Anyone remember our literary Pride and Prejudice candle? This is that scent!!

Tasting: Chocolate cupcakes, made from scratch. I'm in my Joanna Gaines aspirational era (it's not working so well), but I did manage to make some lumpy cupcakes to celebrate my daughter's first birthday! More on my Substack.
