November Candle Club: for the Bounty of the Season
To indulge in the season's bounty. That's what November is about. A cornucopia of the season's best offerings. Pumpkins and corn and blessings abound.
November is for reflection. For harvesting on what we've done this year. To indulge in the end of it and start preparing for what the next one could bring.
This time of year has always been a season of big change for me. Yogis will say there's a lot of vata in the air, meaning a lot of wind, a lot of weightlessness, a lot of shifts. Maybe it's not concrete enough for you, but I can always feel it.
At this time last year, I was getting married. Now I'm moving into my first working mama holiday season. It's all a lot this time of year, and there are always times where I worry that it's too chaotic, too uncertain, it won't all come together. But it always does in the end.
This season I'm trying to take that vata that usually unsettles me and welcome it. The uncertainty, the change, the calm before the storm. It used to throw me for a loop, but now it's my friend. And it feels different. It feels like excitement, and the time to harvest everything we've grown this year.
This month's Candle Club members will get the scent version of this - our Wildberry Pine candle, a studio favorite, and probably one of yours too. This year we're offering our holiday collection scents in our Signature look as well as in their own distinct collection. I'm excited to share it with you, and our Candle Clubbers first, as always.

November through the senses. Here's what I'm...
SEEING: Pastels. I'm trying to stretch my creative muscles again in the form of this messy, low stakes medium, and I love it. It's just hard to look away from baby bird's smiles for long enough to finish anything, but I love to sketch out still life scenes from my dining table. They are nice markers of time.
HEARING: Cheer. I can hear it around the corners, in the brewery by my house, in everyone's voices as we prepare for a (hopefully) non-pandemic holiday season. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
SMELLING: Wildberry pine. Like a log cabin covered in snow deep in the woods, and an excuse not to squeeze a full sized Christmas tree through the door of my little row home this year. P.S. We extended our sale on our holiday scents through this Sunday night!
TASTING: I have a taste for sweet potatoes at the moment. It's what I usually cook for Thanksgiving every year. My grandma has the best recipe and maybe I'll share it in our IG stories this year. ;)
TOUCHING: Head to pillow. Before the holiday season officially starts and I'm pumping outside at craft shows, I'm trying to indulge in all the rest I can.
Candle Club boxes ship out within a week of joining. Subsequent deliveries will charge on the same day each month and ship within a week after. Each month is a surprise curated for the season.
Perfect for candle lovers. <3
